Saturday, January 7th, 2012

You cannot beat studying coupled with traveling abroad. Experience is still the best teacher, and by experiencing another place, language and culture, you will learn a bunch of things along the way. If you study abroad, you learn independent living and decision-making the way a mature person would. You become conscious about how to appropriate and earn money. BlackBerry Travel Tips Using Your BlackBerry Without Paying Roaming Fees
Friday, May 13th, 2011
Traveling with your BlackBerry can be a fearful thing especially with the whole concept of roaming fees. Roaming fees, also known as International roaming can cost tens of thousands of dollars. I am sure you have heard the horror stories of different people coming back home to a bill of more than they have in their bank account. Here’s how you can avoid paying roaming fees with your BlackBerry. I will paint a picture using my own personal experience.
I am from Canada and own a Telus BlackBerry Tour 9630. I was able to unlock BlackBerry Tour which allows me to use my Tour on any GSM network in the world. The way that you can avoid roaming fees is by using prepaid services while traveling. I went to Australia and I was able to use the local prepaid services there.
Doing this from my BlackBerry Tour which was originally locked to Telus was amazing because I was able to get my Blackberry data plan, keep all my contacts etc without switching phones. Also, I only paid about $40 in wireless services for a months worth of BlackBerry services in Australia whereas Telus would have charged me over $1500 for the amount of usage I used. This is amazing and all travelers should take advantage of it!

Beaches to Visit According to the Valencia Guide
Friday, January 7th, 2011
The Valencia Guide is a great way to know where to go once you get to this beautiful area in Spain. Among all the information listed on their guide, one of the best parts of it is the beaches. With this information, those traveling can know which beaches to go to and which are closest to where they are going to be staying. Malvarrosa beach is closest to the center of the city and is a popular spot for those who want to try out water sports. It has a nice sandy beach and the waters are crystal clear, not dirty and disgusting! Gandia beach is very popular for tourists, making it the best place to meet new people and lay out all day. It’s very clean and is very large as well, making it perfect for a large group of people. Pinedo Beach is a bit smaller than the others but still a popular place to enjoy many different water sports. There are many other beaches to explore, making it easy to find a new one each day of vacation!

Exploring the European Countryside Made Easy by Mapquest Driving Directions Europe
Friday, December 24th, 2010
I remembered seeing this kind of technology on movies alone. Where my favorite spy would just input a coordinate and navigation system will guide him to his destination, anytime, anywhere. It’s just amazing that common people like us could now use this very useful technology. I even thought the military would never allow civilians to get their hands on this kind of technology. But here it is now. Gone are the days of frequent stopping, opening big maps, and wondering where you are and where you’re actually heading. Thanks to these navigation devices, you can get from point to point in no time. All you need to do is hook up with a service provider, input your destination and drive away. Like for example, you would like to explore the European countryside, just hook up with providers such as mapquest driving directions europe and you will get step by step directions with every turn. These navigation systems also features forecast, landmark images, and more to make your driving experience fun and you don’t have to worry about getting lost ever again. It really is a relief to say goodbye to the days of driving in circles.

How to Have a Successful Orlando Vacation
Wednesday, November 24th, 2010
If you are considering taking your family to Orlando Florida for vacation, you are in for a really great trip. Orlando not only boasts almost year-round sunshine, but it is the home of many great attractions, including Disney World, Epcot Center, Universal Studios, and Sea World. Although many people think of Disney World as a kids-only vacation destination, it has a lot of great things to offer adults as well. There are great restaurants and bars, and an attraction called “Pleasure Island” that has amazing adults-only dance clubs, music venues and entertainment. Epcot Center also contains many exhibits of international art and culture. Even if you don’t enjoy roller coasters, you can have a great time at these places. Of course there is plenty for little kids to do, too, and the hosts and hostesses at Disney World and Sea World are amazing at entertaining children, and very good at calming them down if they get stressed out. Remember when traveling with your kids that it is important not to disrupt their regular sleep and eating schedules, or you could make them cranky!

Enjoying the Nightlife in Paris…from London
Thursday, September 16th, 2010
I didn’t really consider this before, but Paris is just over 2 and a quarter hours away from London by train. Better still, Eurostar’s London Paris Train takes you from St Pancras International station in the very centre of London, right through to Paris Gard du Nord, again, right in the centre of the city. But that’s not all. Eurostar offer some special tickets, just for clubbers wanting to get to Paris in the evening, and depart for your return to London the very next morning. I think these tickets are only available for Saturdays and Sundays, and you can only use them to leave London after 4pm. These Eurostar fares are cheaper than the standard return fares too, and cost around £50. So once I arrive at Paris Gare du Nord, I aim to get to the Le Marais area of Paris, where all the best bars and clubs seem to be.

How To Make A Coach Travel Comfortable
Friday, August 27th, 2010
Coach travels are designed for very long land journeys, which is important to keep in mind when visiting or backpacking in places such as backpacking in europe. Sometimes, a coach travel can last for even three hours. Definitely, there is a great need to deal with this as it can make a passenger really bored and annoyed.
A travel in a coach can still be relaxing by putting some things firmly in mind. Keep in mind that coaches are very different from buses. With it, all the passengers get the chance to have a seat. Therefore, when riding a coach, you must find a way to relax yourself. First, you must do some work upfront and get detailed seating charts on line. You are free to select the best section for you. If possible you can try to be seated in an exit aisle. Exit isles have the most leg room in coach. As much as possible, avoid being seated near the wing. This will spoil your view and often has accompanying engine noise.

The Passport Indicates The Citizenship Of A Person
Wednesday, July 28th, 2010
As we know that we have to get a passport from the passport office in order to travel outside the country. When I was in my teenage I decided to go in china for getting the medical education. For that purpose I had to get a passport where visa for china was going to be stamped. There were many fore steps done before getting the passport from the office such as filling the passport form, getting the passport size snap that was going to be included in the fist page of passport and getting the finger prints. I successfully completed all those steps and got the passport after 10 days of submitting the application form. The expiry period for my passport was 10 years. I went to china by showing the passport at the airport and embassy. This passport shows the nationality of the person and it is a proof of his citizenship. Before getting the passport we also have to write the NIC number on the form and other information such as the father and mother name.

Should You Bring Your Cellphone While Backpacking Europe?
Sunday, July 25th, 2010
With the growing number of travelers choosing to backpack through Europe, there are many people who find themselves with questions about an adventure like this. Whether it’s your first time abroad or you’ve been backpacking for a long time, you may still have some questions which you’ve never found answers to. One of the most predominant questions that I hear from people heading to Europe is if they should bring their cell phone with them? Well the answer to that question is, “it depends.”
Cell phones in the United States do not operate without a GSM (Global System For Mobile Communication). The best way to get a GSM phone for making your calls when backpacking through Europe, is to buy one before you depart. It is a good idea to do this a few weeks before you plan on arriving in Europe. That way you are familiar with how to use and the limitations of this kind of phone.
