This morning we are looking for photographers in the Outer Banks. We decided we wanted to get married there and need someone to take the pictures. Pictures are so important to me and since it will be the biggest day of my life, I want someone who will take some good ones. I also would like someone who is flexible enough to be able to stay for the whole thing. I don’t just want them there for two or three hours. I would like to be able to purchase a lot of my photos on a disk afterwards. I would also like to purchase an album to go with them. I really want to display a lot of my pictures around my home. I think that would be a great thing to do. When we have kids they can see how happy we were on our wedding day. They will see how much we love each other.

I have a Burmese cat called Bill who is 3 years old. I have had him since he was about 18 months old and he has become a very important part of my life. It is for this reason that I would like him to be a large part of the wedding photography at my upcoming wedding. I am starting to become a little concerned about how I will get him to keep still for the pictures and also the fact that he meows quite alot and may be quite irritating for the rest of the bridal party. Also a concern is the fact that my darling husband to be; Barry is allergic to cats. I just figured that I would give him some Telfast and hopefully this should sort the problem out and his eyes won’t be too red and puffy for the photos. If they do, I’m sure the wedding photographer will be able to photoshop them back to normal anyway.

I always take my Nikon 135mm f 2 DC with me when I am out with my children, they are usually so happy especially when the sun is out and we are in the countryside enjoying a picnic. These are the images I like to keep of my children as I work away and don’t see them everyday. The last time we went out though I forgot the camera. We had a brilliant time, the children were just so happy, my wife had prepared an incredible picnic, worth photographing in it’s own right. The weather was wonderful and we picked this perfect spot in the Derbyshire Dales. It is possibly one of those days that we will never forget but the only images I have are those in my own head or on my wife’s slightly ropey mobile phone. I’d love to go back and do it again with the Nikon 135mm f 2 DC but I know that something just wouldn’t be the same so now I vow never to leave it behind again when we have a picnic.

I have a friend who is into photography, and even though it has been only months since she first started shooting, I was amazed how much her photography skills have improved. She has always been into the arts particularly painting and drawing. She will not be having a career out of her photography skills, but she is doing it only because she enjoys it. She said that it helps relax her particularly when she is under stress. I was looking at her photos, and I could not help getting jealous.
